Pearl 94: Like God

TOPIC: Organization and Godliness

"For God is not a God of disorder but of peace—
as in all the congregations of the Lord’s people" - 1 Corinthians 14:33.

God is a God of order. We know what day summer will begin and end.  We know what time the sun will come up and go down every day. We can tell what time high and low tides will occur. Yet all this order does not diminish or take away from God's great creativity. So, if God is a God of order and you are not an orderly person, then is your disorder an ungodly trait? If you have learned to be unorganized, can you learn new skills that will release your latent organizing skills and thus enhance your creativity? Do you need to repent of your disorganization and ask God's help?

Lord, I have rejoiced in my ability to create, but I have at times feared being organized would somehow make me less creative! Yet You are both organized and creative and I see I need to be just like You. Forgive me for treating my 'world' like it was exclusively mine and not making room for Your order.
