Q1: Flavor

What would Jesus ask?

“But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again?" - Matthew 5:13.

Salt was and is used to preserve or flavor food. Salt is used to represent influence for no one eats salt alone but wants it in their food. You are to be like salt, representing God in whatever situation you find yourself, influencing circumstances and people for Him. Is your witness credible in your workplace, family, or neighborhood? In other words, is your salt still salty? What are you doing to improve situations in which you find yourself? What can you do to be more salty, making people thirsty for the Lord? Is your influence being felt wherever God chooses for you to be? Read Colossians 4:2-6 and meditate on what it means to season your words and life with salt.
