What would Jesus ask you today?
"Do you see all these things?" - Matthew 24:2.
Did you ever notice that you can pass things regularly and not really see or notice them because they have no value to or meaning for you? Sometimes you can be preoccupied with yourself or not paying attention, and can then can easily pass by someone who is hurting, worried, or angry. Make an effort today to "read" the people around you and then be willing and available to help them according to their need. For an example of this dynamic, read 2 Kings 4:25-27 and see how the prophet went out of his way to meet the widow's need once God opened his eyes to see it. Then go do the same.
