I had a meeting today to talk to anyone interested in coming with me next March for my next missions trip to Kenya. I briefed them on what we will do when we go and the projects that we are sponsoring. All those projects are lumped into one particular 
fundraising emphasis that I am calling The Big Blessing (TBB). The TBB goal is to raise $22,500 for the trip, which will be distributed among several projects.
One of those projects will be for the Upako Centre led by Pastor Francis. We gave Pastor Francis $5,000 in March when we were there, and he recently sent me a report with pictures of their results from the money. These pictures show the dishes and mattresses that were purchased for the orphans pictured above, along with the renovations carried out to the grounds and classrooms (you can click on any picture to get a better look). Our goal is to provide Pastor Francis some money for food when we go, along with help to launch a project (yet to be determined) that will enable him to earn ongoing income for his school and orphanage.

TBB is by far my most ambitious goal to date, but after all, "God is able to do exceeding abundantly above all we ask or think" (Ephesians 3:20 NKJV). While it is big for me and us, it is not too big for God.
