It is difficult to listen and not be formulating your response while someone is still talking. What's more, you can hear the words but still not understand the full meaning of what someone says. And how well you hear others is an indication of how well you hear the Lord!  Look at what Jesus had to say about how critical good listening skills are in Mark 4:23-25 and then consider what can you do to improve your listening skills.
