TOPIC: Written Goals
"I will stand at my watch and station myself on the ramparts;
I will look to see what he will say to me,and what answer
I am to give to this complaint.Then the Lord replied:
'Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets
so that a herald may run with it. For the revelation awaits
an appointed time;it speaks of the end and will not prove false.
Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay'" - Habbakuk 2:1-3.
Yesterday you were urged to write some goals. How can you do this? You will do it just as the God directed the prophet. You will sit, listen, and write it plainly. Someone once said the problem with taking mental notes is that the ink fades so quickly, so you must write down what it is that you have set your mind and heart to do. Don't worry about whether it's right or wrong at this point, or written correctly. Trust that God is leading you and write them down. What is stopping you from sitting down and writing out goals? Why not set a time right now, allowing at least two hours? Don't talk yourself out of it!
Lord, I trust that you are leading me, so I will sit down to listen and write some goals. Guide my mind and steps to do Your will and then give me the courage and strength to follow through. I want to be focused and diligent but I need Your help!
